Lovin' It

Only 10 days since the new year took over and about 355 remaining, it seemed today, I had the best day of the year already. Should this be a sign for things to come, it’s warmly welcomed.
It was yet another awesome sunday morning spent outside in the cold, under the generous january sunshine. Temperatures wandering way below the freezing point, it was the first time ever, that I’ve seen the nearby Unterbacher See entirely frozen.
Luckily, I wasn’t the only one, who sacrificed the sunday morning breakfast for this beautiful, maybe one-time experience at Lake Unterbach. When will I ever see people crossing the lake on foot again or playing hockey on the thick ice?
If you want to kill your mornings in front of the TV or your Laptop, it’s your choice, but you should know, that you might be missing a myriad of opportunities to make the best out of it.
Today was surely a day, I’ll remember for a long time.
